Dinner Recipe Veal tortellini soup
Ingredients:
- 4 cups (1 litre) beef stock
- 700ml tomato passata
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- salt and cracked black pepper
- 375g veal or beef tortellini
- shredded basil, to serve
Instructions:
- Place the stock, tomato passata, sugar, salt and pepper in a large saucepan over medium heat and bring to a high simmer.
- Add the tortellini and cook following packet instructions or until al dente.
- To serve, spoon the tortellini among serving bowls and pour over the soup. Sprinkle with basil and serve immediately.
